In the mid 1960's Robert Swartwood chose to start a career in the Amusement Ride business as a owner. Mr Swartwood purchased half of the ride company known as J.A Blash Shows, whom was owned by his uncle and aunt, Joe and Alice Blash. As a partner and manager of the company, Mr Swartwood introduced the carnival ride business to his wife Cindy. Soon to follow was his brother, two sons and two nephews. After many years of safe and successful fiesta's, Joe Blash decided to retire in 1994. Mr Swartwood purchased the whole company in 1994 and decided to call it Swartwood Amusement Co.. Mr Swartwood has continued the success of this company for many years, and with the help of family and friends, a safe and reliable operation, and honesty that the Swartwood family holds to extremely high standards, Swartwood Amusement Co. will continue to entertain its customers.
